As the world is adapting to a new normal during the evolving COVID-19 situation, Uniphos Envirotronic Inc. remains dedicated to meeting the needs of our customers in North America. Like other industries, we have been impacted by the world-wide pandemic and are facing many unknowns.
Our factory in India has been shut down for several weeks, but we were able to reopen on April 21, albeit with reduced manpower. Our priority will be to dispatch all pending orders for material that we have in stock, but full-scale manufacturing is still at least a week away.
We have faced challenges with logistics, since most major courier companies are not yet accepting cargo for shipment. Fortunately, we have come to an arrangement with a freight forwarder, though shipments are expected to take longer than usual.
